So the house has been on the market for about 33 days now, and we’ve had one formal offer, two lowballs, and a third informal offer we’re considering. I just want to get this done, but I don’t want to get screwed. Nor do I want to screw, either. I don’t want to be greedy, I just want fair market price. I’m also excited about the post-sale. What will we do? Where will we go?

I just got off the phone with a mortgage lender. We’re considering – actively persuing, is more likely – a move to NoVa. It’s amazing the numbers you can swing when you have a good amount of equity in your current home. That home, which we bought in 1999, is probably the best investment I ever made.
